The Swish Stencil from Whimsy!

I used the new stencil Swish from Whimsy stamps to create this fun background on my card.  I used Brilliance Mediterranean Blue, Brilliance Platinum and VersaMagic Sky Blue to create the background colors.  I love it!  I then cut the stenciled paper with the Rectangle Nested Stitched Dies and raised the center piece with foam tape.

Finally, I chose a piece of blue cardstock and stamped with VersaMark Ink and then white embossing powder the sentiment from Bold Statements!  I then added some simple sequence.

Easter Lily - Introducing DoveArt to Whimsy Stamps

Hi ya everyone!  I was super excited about the news that Jennifer Dove was going to be designing and selling her line of stamps at Whimsy!  She has gorgeous natural designs that are so simple to color.   The best part, if you're a novice these stamps are great at helping you find areas you should shadow.  Also, if you are an advanced Copic user you can add your own details.

I found some gorgeous Lily's online that had this color scheme and decided to give it a shot!  I think they turned out beautiful.  To see the whole DoveArts line head to Whimsy Stamps!

Thanks for GREEN!!!

Hi ya everyone!  I just wanted to share this little St. Paddy's day card I made using the set Gnome Sweet Gnome from Whimsy.  This is a set that once gone will be gone forever, so if you haven't picked yours up yet, do so soon!  I colored the gnome in Copics and stamped the sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne.  The little clovers are stamped in memento ink called cottage ivy.

I also used the lattice background and background buddies stamp set.  These are some of the most versatile and fun stamps from Whimsy!  I watercolored the background and then added the background lattice with VersaMark and then added white embossing powder.  After heat embossing I added the little four leaf clovers from the background buddy set.  Then heat embossed those.

Since this set is on it's way out at Whimsy here is another inspiration shot!  Enjoy and don't forget to pick yours up today.  Links are listed below.  Just click on the stamp set you are interested in!

Missing you today

Hey everyone!  Isn't this girl a cutie?  This is an image from Conie Fong Art called Susie Sunshine. This is a new stamp company to me, but I find her images quite sweet.  She's got a lot of adorable animals too.

She was colored in Copics.  I used some fun plaid paper from Lawn Fawn and matched it with cardstock and sparkly ribbon tape.  This card was created for Passionate Paper Creations and Friends on Facebook.  I feel like most of the crafting community is found on Facebook and Passionate Paper Creations is a great place to find discounts, share your creations and be inspired by other artists in the community.  Head over and check out all the great fun!

Too Sweet - stamping on fabric with Versafine Clair

Hi ya!  Have you ever tried to add fabric to your card?  Sometimes that simple touch can do so much.  The texture adds a nice touch that makes the receiver want to touch your card.  In addition, the new inks from Versafine Clair are just delicious.

They stamp so well that stamping on fabric is so nice.  The ink does not spread out or move once stamped.  The image is crisp and clean.  You'll see in this wonderful video I created for Imagine.  Also, if you haven't gotten a chance to check out the Versafine Clair inks, you can watch my quick review on them.

Check out how I created this card using fabric, Fabrico markers and Versafine Clair!!!  I used two Whimsy Stamps set to create this card!

or if you want to see more details on Versafine Clair check out my review!

The Fluffiest Unicorn - Fireworks Sprays!!!

Hi ya everyone!  Today, is travel day.  My sister and I are heading to a fun weekend of art with Dina Wakely.  But first, I wanted to share this card I made using the best sprays I've ever used!!! I love these Fireworks sprays from Imagine!  You guys, they are gorgeous.  The sparkle is truly amazing.  The color is super concentrated and vibrant!  I took a piece of Bristol Smooth paper and simple sprayed the ink everywhere.  I used Rosebud, Grape Jelly and Bahama blue and just look at the color.

These are the perfect color for unicorns right!?  So why not use the adorable The Greeting Farm stamp set called Fluffy Unicorn.  I decided to stamp them and simply cut out the body of the unicorn so that the gorgeous Fireworks! color could be the mane and tail of the unicorns!  I added sequence and done.  Seriously, a simple card and gorgeous.  I topped it off by stamping the sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne!

Hey There - Whimsy Stamps Release Day

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend and enjoying all the new fabulous products at Whimsy Stamps this week.  Today, I'm sharing the cutest Easter image!  Meet Penguin's bunch of bunnies!  This is a Crissy Armstrong image that comes in red rubber from Whimsy.  I colored these cuties in my Copics.

Once I colored the image I used the beautiful dies from Whimsy's Stamps called Hand Stitched Nested Rectangles.  I love these dies as the stitch is just a bit wonky.  So it leaves this very whimsy border to your creations while keeping the edge nice and clean.

I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne from the sentiment set called Everyday Mini Sentiments.
