Party Like There's No Tomorrow - SugarPea Designs

Hi ya everyone!  Shake Shake Shake...Shake Shake Shake....Shake yer shaker card.  Ok, I know, I'm in a mood.  I love making shaker cards when they don't frustrate me because I glued something on wonky.  I used the ADORABLE dinos from SugarPea Designs called Prehistoric Pals.  This set is just so very cute.  Truly, the sentiments and the images are just really cute.  Here, I'll just show you.

See what I mean?  I colored these cuties in my Copics...are you surprised?  You can check out the colors below.

The background was made using Tim Holtz Distress Inks and a spritz of water.  Then I colored the cute volcano and glued it to the background.  I cute a frame but wanted the background to stick out a bit for more color.  I added all kinds of little sequence and beads for the shaker part.

I hope you like today's card.  You should really check out SugarPea Designs. They have the cutest little stamps and they are paired perfectly with cute sentiments.

COPICS:  Just a note...the green combo here is to die for!  G02, G94, G99

Too Cute Witchy - Stampingbella

Oh my cuteness!!! I love this adorable stamp from Stampingbella called Tiny Townie Hattie Loves Halloween!  How cute is she???  First, I love little witches for Halloween cards, second, I love coloring them in purple and black!  I used my Copics to color the image and then mounted the on this adorable paper from Carta Bella, called Haunted House.

Once she was colored I used my clear sparkle gel pen to add sparkle to her hat and shoes!  I also added some starts to the Copic night sky with a white gel pen and my Copic colorless blender and then a Y21.

I used the adorable sentiment from Whimsy Stamps Boo to You Clear stamp set.  Added some twine and white cotton ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Here Comes Santa - Watercolor Change Up and SugarPea Designs

Hi ya everyone!  Occasionally, I'll put down my Copics and try something new.  I love painting, but find it sort of cumbersome just because there is so much to clean up.  However, I think Distress Inks make things easier.  I simply stamp them onto an acrylic block and use my watercolor brush.  I stamped these cute images from SugarPea Designs.  The trees and snowflakes are from Merry Christmoose and the santa and sentiment is from Here Comes Santa Clause.
I really like the watercolor look, but I really need to work on the technique.  I used the following items for this card:
Watercolor Paper
White emboss powder
Veramark ink
Distress Inks

Sparkle the Elf - Whimsy

Hi ya everyone!  Today, I took a bit of a risk with this card.  I colored up this adorable Whimsy Stamps called Christmas Elf by the talented Crissy Armstrong...and if you color, you know that once you have an image you like, you don't want to do anything to mess it up.

And he's cute, am I right?  I love him...then I decided to sketch out a tree to put next to him.  I don't know, I think if I played with it some more, added more depth and more some darker greens, I would like it more.

I went ahead and added a bit of a snowy background and some clouds in the sky. In addition, I used the Sparkle sentiment from Whimsy dies called, Wonderland die set.  I love these sentiments, they are easy to pop on and look so cute with the elf.  More plaid paper too :)  I promise next week will have a few cards without plaid.

A Moose Wonderland - Whimsy Stamps

Hi ya everyone!  Today, I wanted to share a Whimsy creation.  I love this new red rubber stamp called Merry Moose-mas.  He's so cute and I loved coloring him with my Copics.  I used E70 series for his body and the E50 series for his snout and antlers.
I also used the new die set called Wonderland Word Die Set.  I cut the wonderland out twice, once in Kraft and once in black cardstock so that I could layer the two.  I think it makes the word really stand out.
I added a bit of sparkle and put everything on this cute plaid paper!

I love love love the new Winter Village stamp set from Lawn Fawn.  I couldn't resist picking up this cute little set and a ton of their plaid papers!  I think they are adorable and in so many colors and varieties, I couldn't resist and I got them all!  I colored the little village images in my Copics.

I used the black Lawn Fawn ink that's safe for Copics.  This was my first run with that ink and I liked it.  No problems with my Copics.  I used the fall paper from Lawn Fawn called Perfectly Plaid Fall.  Lawn Fawn also has a very cute challenge happening right now using fall colors!  You can find that challenge HERE.

It Moose be your Birthday - SugarPea Designs Mix it Up Challenge

Hi ya everyone!
Well by now, it's become apparent that I love SugarPea Designs.  Because of this love affair, I decided to join the challenge.  It's a mix it up, you can either do both or one or the other :)  I chose to sort of combine the two.  My colors don't match perfectly, but I liked the store logo of SugarPea with it's pinks and greens, so I chose those instead!

I colored the Moose from Merry Christmoose in Copics.  I used my stitched circles from Lawn Fawn to cut the image and a background circle in green.  I layered everything on Kraft from Neenah called Dessert Storm.

Last, I added some Stardust Stickles to the trees and background for some glimmer.  Make sure to join the Mix-it Up challenge at SugarPea designs.  They have so many adorable stamps and you can win prizes too.  Check out all the details HERE.

The Highest Branch - SugarPea Designs

Hi ya everyone!
Well as you know, I'm addicted to SugarPea Designs adorable little stamps.  I can't get enough of those cute characters and the adorable sentiments that come with each set.  This is an exclusive stamps set sold through Simon Says Stamp for the Stamptember 2017 release called Koalaty Time.  I saw a few of the gorgeous design team samples and knew I wanted them!  I colored this cutie with Copics on Desert Storm Neenah 80lb card stock.  I also stamped the image on two shades of green card stock and on yellow.  I fussy cut the leaves and butterfly and adhered them with multi mat medium.

The hearts that also come with the set were stamped in versamagic ink!  I just love this set and SugarPea Designs!!!  Sadly, this stamp set has been sold out.  However, you can find a lot more of their cuties HERE!

Heard You Were Dragon - My Favorite Things

Hi ya everyone!
Today, I'm sharing an adorable card made using My Favorite Things stamp set called, BB Magical Dragons.  I love this cute little set and the sentiments are so fun.  I stamped the dragon in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Xpress It paper and colored him in Copics.
I love to add little dots in various colors and in colorless blender to give him an adorable textured appearance.  I simply popped him up on a piece of Bo Bunny paper.  I also added my favorite enamel dots from Whimsy, Summer Breeze, to the top.
Hope you have a great day!

Happy Howl-o-ween - SugarPea Designs

Hi ya everyone!
Today I'm sharing a Halloween creation using these cuties from SugarPea Designs.  I love this set, Monster Mash with matching dies that includes all the characters you see above, the sentiment and much more.  The pumpkins came from another SugarPea Designs set called Fall Fox.

I used the no lines coloring technique in which I stamped the images on XPress It paper with Angel Pink Memento ink.  The hills were cut with Stitched Hillside borders from Lawn Fawn.  The background web paper was from Echo Park called the Apothecary Emporium.  I inked the paper with Black Soot and Faded Jeans distress inks.  Lastly, I added the stardust stickles to the background for some stars!

I hope you enjoy my card.  Make sure to check out SugarPea Designs and all their adorable stamp sets!  I just love them.

The Cream in My Coffee - Whimsy Stamps

Hi ya everyone!
Occasionally, I like to make a simple card that is a bit masculine.  I typically have a hard time with cards that are darker in color and have a more plain feel.  However, Whimsy Stamps has made that easy for me!!  For this card, I used the clear stamp set called Coffee Break.  I also used VersaMagic Chalk Ink and white paper.  That's pretty much it but for the circle surrounding the sentiment.
I stamped the beans and coffee rings in two brown colors, Jumbo Java (ironically) and Sahara Sand.  I stamped the coffee mug in Ocean Depth.  The sentiment was curved along the top of the circle cut (one of the GREAT things about clear sentiments) and stamped in the Jumbo Java.  This was such a fun card to make and simple too.  I didn't have the appropriate papers, so I made them!!!!

Check out Whimsy Stamps today!
